WARP Ski Racing Alumnus and Montana State University Race hired for 2011-12 Coaching staff

Liz Watkins raced for WARP as a mitey-mite and junior. She eventually transferred to MBSEF. In college she raced NCAA for MSU. Liz has a love for sharing her ski racing experiences, and is a great individual to reinforce our Core Values, promote a love for the sport, AND make our kids ski FAST!

Willamette Pass Resort continues to value the relationship with our club members. They provide us priority scheduling for training and racing, coaches passes, use of our new Race Place area in the lodge and free hosting of training and events.

Look for additional information on the club in your next WARP Newsletter.

Primary Coach Assignments

Randy Rogers will return as Program Director Head Coach. He will primarily coach the juniors and YSL's.

Tyler Sassara has joined our coaching squad. Tyler raced in USSA as a member of the Cooper Spur race team and on his high school team through OISRA. He will primarily coach the J5 Mitey-Mites.

All of our coaches will be well versed in the development training program that has come out of USSA over the past few years. The USSA Alpine Training Program is a systematic program that pairs athlete development on an age appropriate basis.
